Scattered Work

Work existed across email, Slack and spreadsheets without one clear delivery view.

Unclear Ownership

Responsibilities were not consistently assigned or visible, creating gaps and duplication.

Cross-workstream sequencing constraints could create unexpected blockers.

Automation should remove monitoring, not judgement.

Automation was applied to genuine delivery conditions to reduce repetitive manual monitoring while keeping project signals visible.

Blocked Task → Off Track + Slack Alert

When a task is set to Blocked, RAG automatically changes to Off Track and a message is sent to the connected Slack channel.

Approaching Deadline → RAG Adjusted

When task is due today, RAG is automatically set to Off Track if the task hasn't started or At Risk if it is in progress.

RAG Change → New Follow-up Task Created

When RAG changes to At Risk or Off Track, a follow-up task automatically created to track the issue.
